Greetings All-

I hope this reaches you in good spirits and great health. Correct me if I'm wrong, but am I the only one anxiously bidding farewell to 2008?! WOW! What a year, to say the least.

As most of you know, my journey continued this year as I relocated back to Miami in May.

How did that happen? Well its quite simple, I came to Miami in April to see my best friend get married, little did I know that the weekend to follow would change 2008 all together.

After the wedding I spent the weekend with my long time friend Derrick and we discussed life, business, and all that goes with it, at the end of the weekend I knew it was time for change, so I proceeded back to Newport Beach and checked out of California, at least emotionally.

The plan was to go back to CA for a couple more months, plan the move, and arrive in July, yaaa, not so much, that plan was expedited by me selling everything I own on Craigslist, coordinating a move in, oh in about 3 weeks, grabbing 2 one way tickets to Miami and calling the rest history, yes I am nuts to just clarify! :P

Since arriving in Miami I continue to get the question, "So why the move back?" and in all honesty my CA time had run its course, Kayla missed her Mother, and I for all intents and purposes was completely convinced that change was inevitable and going back "Home" just made sense. There's nothing like it.

Business continues to be struggle in the midst of this "lovely" economy as we're all aware, but the eternal optimist in me continues to remind me that it will all turn around in due time, as it always does!

I can't put a price tag on having some assistance with Kayla now, even though I've mastered the Daddy Program, SANITY is vital! Can I get an AMEN?!

Kayla's Mom and I have great parenting relationship and regardless of her challenges of being a Mother in the past, she's here today and part of Kayla's life and that's really all I can ask for.

I am really looking forward to seeing what God has in store for 2009. This year has been a great opportunity to grow, reconnect with old friends, spend time with family and just count my blessings.

Well that's all for now folks! If you make it to Miami or you're already here, look me up, I'd love to catch up!

Kayla and I would like to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and prosperous and healthy New Year!!

God Bless All of you!

In His Grip,

Sebastian & Kayla <><

Greeting Folks!

Wow, I just caught myself, I haven't stopped to type a few words in quite some time, so I deemed it necessary update those you close and across the country on whats crackin' in good ole MIA. I hope this reaches all of you happily and in good spirits!

Let's see if I can come up with a word to sum up life for past 4 months, oh ya, HEC-TIC!!! (all one word).

Summer has just flown by. Kayla left in early June to launch her annual summer tour, it started with the Grandparents in SC for a month, then she returned to spend a few weeks with Daddy in which I conveniently placed her @ the Miami Seaquarium Summer Camp, where she splashed around with Dolphins, and fed Sea Lions smelly fish for 2 weeks.

She had a ball, but one question, where were these camps when we were kids?! I vividly remember being dropped off @ the YMCA or being babysat by my Big Sis and forced to watch Day Soaps...After the Seaquarium she headed up the pike to hang the Grandparents in Delray Beach, where she attended a day camp there and make a ton of new friends, and got a chance to spend some QT with Oma Suz and Papa Dave, those 2 weeks were also a great reminder to the Grandparents of how rigorous and challenging a 7 year old can be, they claim it was a piece of cake ;) After leaving the Grandparents, she headed around the corner to Boca Raton to hang with the Mom for a couple weeks, she had a great time, and just returned back to me Sunday, its great to have my Baby back =)

Business is coming along, my partners and I launched a Loan Modification company about 2 months that assists people with saving their home and lowering their mortgage payments, the company is called Loan Modify USA (http://www.loanmodifyusa.com/) Things are going great, yet another blessing to have the opportunity to be in business with one of my best friends on the planet! I really feel I've learned and grown so much just since I've been back in Miami, there is definitely something to be said for having an "air-tight" team.

Well unfortunately the bills don't pay themselves, so I've got to get back to what I do best.

I hope all of you are going great and I hope to see you soon. Come to Miami, its HOT HOT HOT!

Don't be stranger!

In His Grip,

Sebastian

Hello All-

It's 630am and I was just out on my patio watching the sun come up, having my coffee and thought what are great time to stop and drop you all a line!

First of all here's the view from my patio...

Was Miami a good move? Uh you do the math...

I hope this reaches all of you in good health and smiling! Yes, we finally made it to Miami, we made it through our 1st official week! It's been quite the adjustment from the laid back atmosphere in Newport, to city living in Miami! The good news is, we LOVE IT!!

God really orchestrated the entire move down to the final details of where Kayla would go to school. Her school just so happens to be literally 200 ft. from our front door, its called Southside Elementary Museums Magnet School, (say that 5 times fast), it's absolutely charming. The school requires the kids to wear uniforms everyday and of course the little princess looks adorable in her little Navy plaid skirt and baby blue polo, TOO CUTE! (I must be a Dad when I get stoked about little details like that)

Business is just plain crazy, at the moment, I have my hands in fire, I'm currently working with some real estate stuff and then switching gears to focus on our Marketing company which is 360 Entertainment. We market company's products through local events that we host here in the Miami area.

Some really big deals are starting to unfold and I'm just blessed to be a part of everything. Everyday there is something new to learn and run with, I love it, it's right up my alley, my new business partners are great, its like we've been working together for 10 years, yet another affirmation that I made the right decision!

Well I'm glad I found some time this morning to stop and write, I've been thinking about doing it for a few days now, but finding a free minute to do so has been quite challenging.

Once again I wanted to personally thank all of my CA folks for coming out to see me before I left, that really meant the world to me, you guys rock!!!

Blessings to all of you! Don't be a stranger! Come to Miami!

In His Grip,

Sebastian <><

<======= (I can explain...)

Greetings! - So it's be quite some time since my last post, however I have blogged as a faithful MySpace ADDICT, I just haven't taken the time to share my thoughts on BlogSpot...so here I am folks!!

It's been interesting 2 years to say the least, as most of you know I'm now a full-time single Dad since Kayla's Mom CHECKED OUT as Mom back in January of last year .

I must say, it has been nothing but a blessing and a daily reminder what my calling is and how thankful I am to have her in my life, not to mention how consistent she is with ALWAYS needing me, which in turn keeps ME in line.

In September of this year I really started to view life differently and decided to go full throttle with personal change and getting right with God, after years of conviction and SWEARING my way was it, I am now convinced the Lord has grand plans for me and loves me more than some dumb girl ever could...(Kayla being the exception of course)

Dating still seems to be an on going challenge, still haven't found "the one" some prospects have been great, others we thought were great turned out to be the opposite, but like my WISE Sister always says, there is one FACT about life...IT GOES ON! (Ain't that the truth!) Being single for the past 2 years and meeting random people and going on random dates still seems to have done one thing, strengthen my knowledge about what I DON'T want.

Overanalyzing, scrutinizing and swearing there is a deeper meaning is an activity I do less and less of every day. My main goal when I wake up everyday is to NOT pledge allegiance to the CRAZEEE and to find myself FAR from its roller coaster thought process.

My business is still going well, just trying to make a dollar and spend $.50 - some days/weeks are better than others, but everyday I wake up and GO, GO, GO until a better day, beats working for the man, right?

I'm in the process of starting a Golf outreach ministry with my church, serving God really seems to be filling my cup these days, I've met some incredible people over the past 4 months that are true, genuine people who really care about my best interest and really what to know how I'm doing, as opposed to the majority here in Orange County that look right past you as they say hello, go figure...

Well that's all for now folks, I hope this reaches you all happily and in good health. If you make it to CA look me up, I'm a GREAT tour guide (so I hear...)

Ciao!

Blessings,

Sebastian <><
